Fairlight Introduces XE-6 Fader Extension for Xynergi MPC

Fairlight introduces the XE-6 (price TBA), a new 6-fader extension module that adds tactile mixing control to the Xynergi hardware platform—the Xynergi Media Production Center. The XE-6 Fader Extension works in tandem with the Xynergi tactile controller to create a desktop production system that places moving faders and basic channel functions at the user’s fingertips. The Xynergi runs on the FPGA-based CC-1 digital media engine in all SD and HD file formats.

Train Relies on LMG Touring for Its North American Tour

Promoting a newly released album—Save Me, San Francisco—Train contracted with LMG Touring in Orlando, Fla., to provide video, audio and lighting support for the band’s North American tour. According to Steve McCale, director of touring at LMG, “Our goal was to provide Train with a turnkey solution that would meet all their audio, video and lighting needs, wrapped into a compact, easy-to-use touring package to offer maximum flexibility.”
