VIENNA, Austria – AKG announced that it is working on an iPhone app, to be available for free from Apple's iTunes store in March, that will enable iPhone users to browse, monitor, and control their wireless microphone and PM systems.
The intent is to streamline the workflow for wireless microphone monitoring and configuration by linking Harman's HiQnet protocol to the iPhone and iPod Touch app via Wi-Fi network.

The new application is being designed to allow users to monitor wireless system parameters and radio frequency connections on stage for many of AKG's wireless microphone systems, including the DMS 700, the WMS 4000/4500, and the IVM 4 PM system.

For those of you who watched the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (and apparently there were more of you this year than any year since 2004), you may have had a feeling of déjà vu when you saw virtually the same group of stars that clustered together in 2009, 2008, etc. Does this perhaps remind you — at least a little — of the 1993 film Groundhog Day?
