Future Sonics Gear Used at Super Bowl

MIAMI – Gear from Future Sonics played a key role in the musical performances that were all part of the 2010 Super Bowl, which has been cited as the most-watched television program in U.S. history with its viewing audience of 106 million people.
Future Sonics clients who appeared during the broadcast included Carrie Underwood, who sang the national anthem and Roger Daltrey from The Who, the featured halftime show performers.

Are We Living in “Groundhog Day?”

For those of you who watched the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (and apparently there were more of you this year than any year since 2004), you may have had a feeling of déjà vu when you saw virtually the same group of stars that clustered together in 2009, 2008, etc. Does this perhaps remind you — at least a little — of the 1993 film Groundhog Day? You know, like Bill Murray’s character hearing “I Got You Babe” every morning?

Now, if you happen to want to hear the same song at the same time every day, that’s fine with us. But sometimes it’s fun to let the needle find a new groove.

Michael Deeb, The Music Group CEO, Steps Down

The Music Group (music-group.net) announced the departure of Michael Deeb from the roles of group CEO and director. Uli Behringer and Arie van den Broek will lead the Music Group on an interim basis as it searches for a permanent CEO replacement. Arie van den Broek served Behringer as CEO for several years.
Music Group founder and chairman Uli Behringer stated, Changes are always challenging but also present great opportunities. We have just celebrated our 20th anniversary and as we enter our third decade, we are once again reinventing our company.
