TIRANA, Albania – Prosound Shpk, EAW's Albanian distributor, designed and installed the sound system for a 600-capacity nightclub that reopened recently. Catering to the needs of DJs and live bands, the club, Mumja, has been equipped with eight EAW JFL210 Compact Line Array Modules and four EAW LA400 Subwoofers.
The JFL210s are configured in two arrays of four speakers each, buttressed by the LA400 Bent Horn Subwoofers under the stage. Visiting DJs can hear themselves via a pair of EAW FR129z Compact Full-Range Loudspeakers used as stage monitors.

For those of you who watched the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (and apparently there were more of you this year than any year since 2004), you may have had a feeling of déjà vu when you saw virtually the same group of stars that clustered together in 2009, 2008, etc. Does this perhaps remind you — at least a little — of the 1993 film Groundhog Day? You know, like Bill Murray’s character hearing “I Got You Babe” every morning?
Now, if you happen to want to hear the same song at the same time every day, that’s fine with us. But sometimes it’s fun to let the needle find a new groove.

BATON ROUGE, LA – Hurricane Gustav might not have flattened A.W. Mumford Stadium, the 29,500-seat sports venue for Southern University and A M College, but it did knock out the sound system – and underscore the importance that an audio system can have to a college sports program.
It seems like a pretty minor issue, but the truth is, losing the revenue generated by a home football game is significant, said Henry L. Thurman III, director of the physical plant for Southern. We had lost the entire sound system from our scoreboard as a result of the storm, and had to get it replaced inside of two weeks' time.
