Pianist Randy Waldman Using Earthworks PM40 PianoMic

MILFORD, NH – Pianist/arranger/conductor Randy Waldman is finding that the Earthworks PM40 PianoMic System lets him spend more time arranging, producing, recording and live performances and less time worrying about how the piano is miked.

Waldman,
who won a Grammy Award for co-arranging Barbara's Streisand's Somewhere, has
also performed on and/or arranged numerous recording projects for artists such
as Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, and Michael Jackson. As a pianist, his
performances can be found on soundtracks for films including Without A Trace, Titanic,
and Ice Age (to name but a few)
and he routinely serves as a pianist, conductor, and
arranger for live concerts.

Daltrey, Townshend and IC Live At Super Bowl Press Conference

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – The Who's
Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey gave over a thousand people assembled for a
Super Bowl XLIV press conference an impromptu sample of what they would be
hearing later during the NFL's Bridgestone Super Bowl XLIV Halftime Show.
The event, held at the Fort
Lauderdale Convention Center's Floridian Ballroom, got sound reinforcement from
four Renkus-Heinz's IC Live line array systems provided by AVW-TELAV Audio
Visual Solutions. Using acoustic guitars, Daltrey and Townshend performed Behind
Blue Eyes, Pinball Wizard and Won't Get Fooled Again.
