St. David’s Sound Upgraded with Martin Audio OmniLine Array

Monday, March 15th, 2010

WAYNE, PA – Nearly 300 years old, St. David's Episcopal Church has gained new intelligibility with a Martin Audio OmniLine array, specified by HOW design/installation specialists Spinnaker Multimedia Solutions.
Today, St. David's is the largest of the 157
Episcopal parishes in the Diocese of Pennsylvania and it continues to grow,
having added a new chapel to its 40-acre campus in 2006.

The previous sound system included 32 speakers
mounted around the upper tier of the long, rectangular worship area. The idea
was to amplify sermons and choral voices in the large, reverberant space
dominated by a three-manual, 47-rank custom Dobson organ.

First up, we’d like to thank all of you who have taken the time to write a comment in the FCC’s Open Internet proceedings. And guess what? The Commission actually pushed back the submissions deadline for reply comments to April 8, so if you you haven’t yet filed, you can use our musician/fan/indie label-friendly comments tool to do so.

As we love reminding you all, keeping the internet open as a platform for everyone — musicians included — is one of the major policy issues of our time. By filing a comment, you can be a part of this historic proceeding.
