Hosa Technology Revamps Web Site

BUENA PARK, CA – Hosa Technology announced that its Web site has been redesigned. The revamped site, at www.hosatech.com, presents the various Hosa-distributed brands under the Hosa Technologybanner, including Da-Cappo Micro Microphones, CAIG Laboratories, Neutrik, and Zaolla Silverline brands.
The
site has also been redesigned to make the task of locating a dealer or
distributor easier for site visitors, with a dealer locator based on U.S.
Postal ZIP Codes. Each dealer's listing also references the brands they stock
and support, and international distributors are identified by territory.

Soundcraft adds to Vi Series

UK/GERMANY: Soundcraft has taken the platform provided by the Vi Series digital desks to “another, more affordable level” with the release of the new Vi1 console. Incorporating Vistonics, Lexicon FX and BSS EQs, the Soundcraft Vi1 will be showcased at ProLight+Sound 2010 in Frankfurt next week.

ABC’s “The View” Adds L-Acoustics KIVA System

NEW YORK – The View, ABC Daytime's Emmy
award-winning talk show featuring Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar,
Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd, kicked off its current season with a new
set design and revamped sound system for its studio audience.

For the project, sound designer
Dan Gerhard specified a full L-Acoustics rental package comprising 26 KIVA
enclosures split among seven arrays collectively processed and powered by four
LA4 amplified controllers.

Gerhard worked with both
Bob Rendon and Matt Bell of PRG Audio's Mount Vernon, N.Y.-based crew, which
supplied, installed and commissioned the new system in TV Studio 24 at ABC
Television Center East in Manhattan.
