The Killers, Crew and DiGiCo Gear Survive Test of Logistics

LAS VEGAS – It's not unknown for the word gruelling to be used with regard to tours, but The Killers concluding a year of live dates by playing shows on three separate continents in just five days. No fewer than than six DiGiCo consoles were required.
After playing many dates across Europe, Australia, the U.S. and
South America throughout 2009, The Killers finished the tour by playing shows
in South Africa on Dec. 6, the United Arab Emirates on Dec. 8 and the U.S. on Dec.
11. This was a logistical challenge and meant no less than three separate audio
rigs were required for the shows.

K-array, Sennheiser Gear at SXSW Music Festival

AUSTIN, TX – The three-day SXSW Music Festival featured K-array loudspeakers and Sennheiser microphones and wireless transmitters for a diverse lineup of artists performing at the PureVolume House, Maggie Mae's and Speakeasy venues.
The stage at PureVolume House
featured a set of K-array's deceptively small Redline KR200s loudspeakers.
Artists were also provided with a Sennheiser SKM 2000 wireless handheld
transmitter with MMD 935-1 capsule and a complement of evolution microphones
for reinforcing guitars, drums and other instruments. Similar equipment was
used during performances at Maggie Mae's and Speakeasy.
