NWGE Relies on Martin Audio Gear for Canadian Touring Acts

KELOWNA, BC – Northwest Global Entertainment (NWGE) has been putting its Martin Audio line arrays to good use at the Kelowna Community Theatre, first for sister performers Tegan and Sara and next for Canadian rocker Colin James.
For
Tegan and Sara, the sister act from Calgary, Alberta, NWGE's Steve Williams and
crew, including system tech Perry McDonald, supplied a W8LM rig.

Later
that month, NWGE handled the production chores for Canadian rocker Colin James
who launched his national tour from the same venue. That show featured Martin
Audio W8LM Mini Line Array enclosures with WSX subs and Martin Audio power.

The Killers, Crew and DiGiCo Gear Survive Test of Logistics

LAS VEGAS – It's not unknown for the word gruelling to be used with regard to tours, but The Killers concluding a year of live dates by playing shows on three separate continents in just five days. No fewer than than six DiGiCo consoles were required.
After playing many dates across Europe, Australia, the U.S. and
South America throughout 2009, The Killers finished the tour by playing shows
in South Africa on Dec. 6, the United Arab Emirates on Dec. 8 and the U.S. on Dec.
11. This was a logistical challenge and meant no less than three separate audio
rigs were required for the shows.
