Sennheiser Expands with Production and Technology Center

WEDEMARK, Germany – Sennheiser announced that its new 15 million Euro Production and Technology Center stands as the biggest expansion project in the company's history.
Volker Bartels, president of
manufacturing and logistics, added that the new center, one of the most modern
assembly plants in Northern Germany, represents a significant investment in
efficiency for the future.

The meticulous planning and
the intensive consultation process with ergonomists and manufacturing experts
has paid off, Bartels said. From the beginning of this year our production
and engineering staff have been working in a superbly well-organized and
motivating environment.

Grammy Camp, Now Underway, Got Helping Hand from Avid

LOS ANGELES – From July 10-19, high school students from across the U.S. were set to participate in the Grammy Foundation's sixth annual Grammy Camp-a 10-day residential summer camp hosted by the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music.
The program, taught by Grammy
winning and nominated professionals, provides students with hands-on
instruction in various music industry careers, including audio engineering,
electronic music production, music journalism, concert promotion and
production, and instrumental performance.

Among the companies
supporting Grammy Camp is Avid, which offers an array of audio solutions for
beginner, intermediate, and advanced audio professionals.
