In Memoriam: Albert Leccese, 57

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Albert Leccese, 57, one of the founders of Audio Analysts, died July 17 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was a brilliant technical mind and a true gem of a human being. A full feature on Leccese's life and achievements is being put together for the August issue of FOH.
Leccese is survived by his wife Denise and sons Paul and Steven. A church service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 10 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Colorado Springs. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery following the funeral mass. A celebration of life service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

Toronto Jazz Festival’s Innovason Eclipse Set Up to Meet Analog Preferences

TORONTO – FOH guru Brad Mulligan made a point of setting up the new Innovason Eclipse digital console to work within the comfort zones of the majority of audio engineers at the Toronto Jazz Festival who stated a preference for an analog console.
Now in its 23rd year, the
Toronto Jazz Festival has grown from an ambitious upstart to become one of the
world's premier jazz events, attracting some 500,000 visitors annually for 10
days of music that features jazz legends and newcomers, and even well-known
musicians of other jazz-inspired genres.
