AGOURA HILLS, CA – Allen Heath has launched iLive Tweak, its first iPhone app, to provide real time mobile control of the iLive digital mixing range. The release adds yet another option to iLive's array of remote control possibilities, which includes laptops and touch tablets running iLive Editor control software, and the PL Series of controllers.
Available to download free of
charge from the Apple store, iLive Tweak lets iPhone-using sound engineers
remotely browse and select channels on their iLive MixRack and adjust Levels
and Mutes, PEQ, GEQ and Delays.

MONTREAL – L-Acoustics announced that Solotech, which has supported productions for Cirque du Soleil and tours for Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Leonard Cohen, Andre Rieu, Michael Buble, Diana Krall and Rush, pictured here, has become the first Canadian company to join the manufacturer's K1/KUDO Pilot Program.
No stranger to L-Acoustics gear, Solotech has used
L-Acoustics' V-DOSC/dV-DOSC/ARCS rig for over a decade. More recently, Solotech
elected to purchase a larger-than-standard complement of enclosures consisting
of 56 K1, 32 K1-SB and 32 SB28 subs, 48 adjustable KUDO and 28 LA-RAK touring
racks each loaded with three LA8 amplified controllers.

NOVI SAD, Serbia – Studio Berar deployed a full JBL VerTec line array system for the 2010 Exit Festival. The festival, one of Europe's largest, took place July 8-11 at the Petrovaradin fortress near the Danube River, drawing 165,000 music fans over a four-day span. Studio Berar was awarded contracts to support three of the largest stages of the festival.
More than 500 artists performed on 20 different stages during
the four days. This year's Exit performance lineup included Faith No More,
Chemical Brothers, David Guetta, Missy Elliott, Placebo, Mika, LCD Soundsystem,
Royksopp and Crystal Casteles, among others.
