V Festival

London, UK, June 2010….
One of the most well-worn business clichés states that the key to success is to “find a need and fill it.” For London-based Blink TV, that philosophy has been anything but a cliché.

Pro Sales Management Founder Takes the Helm at Former Client

Sun Valley, CA, June 2010….Late last year, music industry veteran Rick McClendon shook things up with the introduction of a whole new business model. NAB Makes “Virtual” Press Office the Only Option for Media

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

NAB’s decision to implement an online press resource, like most other trade shows, is laudable. For many of us in the media, it provides quick and easy access to the resources we need to report on the show.

But NAB has gone beyond merely offering a Virtual Press Office as an option. Shout out to HARO

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

Just got off a one hour conference call with Peter Shankman (HARO) and Chris Brogan (New Marketing Labs). Shankman speaks faster than most humans), but suffice it to say, totally inspirational.

I admit to being a right-brained creative, and I’m one of those people who has spent little of my adult life working traditional jobs. Shankman wrote a column last year that summarizes brilliantly the reasons people like me can’t sit in an office. “Why don’t you do some work?” is here. (And as one of 12,256 Facebook fans, I’m probably just contributing to Peter’s nosebleed territory-high SEO rankings, but hey…props to the guy, not just for deeply grokking how these tools have enhanced our communication, but for his ability to impart that info and that enthusiasm to others.)
