LOS ANGELES – Danny Leake, FOH engineer for Stevie Wonder for more than 20 years, followed jazz vocalist Dee Alexander’s recommendation to give DPA Microphones’ d:facto Vocal and d:vote 4099P Instrument piano microphones a try. Leake, who had been using DPA’s original 4006 recording mics for Wonder’s percussion section for years, agreed, and the d:facto and d:vote mics continue to support Wonder’s live shows.
